about me

Anna Marie Sharpe is a Black and Filipino actor, filmmaker, and teaching artist based in the Bay Area. Her love of storytelling started with theater and branched off into film and writing. Anna is passionate about creating nuanced authentic stories at the intersection of marginalized communities that highlight new voices and new perspectives. She has starred in numerous award winning stage and film productions, including Sorry We’re Dead and “The Best Time.”

Anna graduated from UC Berkeley and double majored in Theater, Dance, and Performance Studies.

When she isn’t acting, filmmaking, or writing, Anna can be found in her natural state - being a homebody, reading books, chasing the next best chai latte, fostering kiddos, spending time with family, and having deep conversations with her friends because…aquarius.
